The Athena Collar
This collar has a classically inspired, ornate design featuring a main strap of medium width, and a five-tailed spread of hanging O-rings of various sizes. The collar closes in the back with a small but sturdy center-bar buckle. This piece is evocative of an armor-like strength and resilience, but retains a delicacy and elegance of design. It is named for Athena, a goddess known for both strength and wisdom.
As with all of my handmade products, exact dimensions and color may vary slightly. My pieces are finished with a moisture-resistant topcoat, but should be kept dry. It is always possible with hand-dyed vegetable tanned leather that some color may transfer if worn over other fabrics. The topcoat should minimize this, but be aware that some transfer is possible!
